19/10/22 ^^^Truth is whatever you believe in wholeheartedly

Whatever you believe in, that is truth to you.  There is no absolute truth even in mathematics.  I used to believe math is an absolute truth.  No until I discovered that 2 parallel lines eventually meet.

This is called projective geometry, and is described in more detail in the answer to another question. In summary, then: in usual geometry, parallel lines do not meet. There is no such thing as infinity, and it is wrong to say that parallel lines meet at infinity.

In projective geometry, any pair of lines always intersects at some point, but parallel lines do not intersect in the real plane. The line at infinity is added to the real plane. This completes the plane, because now parallel lines intersect at a point which lies on the line at infinity.

I take back my assertion. 2 parallel lines don't meet at infinity

That then reestablished my faith in mathematics as the absolute truth.  Well not all fields of mathematics is truth.  I happen to know that statistics is full of hot air LOL.

Disclaimer:  Provided it is manipulated.  Ansel Keys made it for 30 years with statistics.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, provided you believe, that belief is part of your consciousness.  Provided you believe, whatever you believe will endure as long as there are electromagnetic waves.

I'm saying all these from my layman's view.  Sure, the theoretical physicist may have a grander idea.  But hey, I believe in my idea and therefore it is true to me.
